West Side Catholic Center has had the pleasure of attending three trainings facilitated by Dr. Tameka Taylor and associates of Compass Consulting. Dr. Taylor has conducted trainings for our organization on topics such as workplace ethics and diversity, equity, and inclusion. Dr. Taylor’s trainings continue to remain highly rated among staff. Feedback has shown that staff enjoy the interactive nature of these trainings and activities. Breakout activities have caused all to engage and interact with people they normally would not. Feedback, discussion, and the perspective of others is highly encouraged by Dr. Taylor during her trainings. Dr. Taylor has adjusted trainings to a Zoom format in order to meet our needs during this pandemic. We are very pleased with the work of Dr. Tameka Taylor and associates of Compass Consulting and will continue our partnership with them.

Tameka Taylor recently led a professional development in service that focused on examining our bias and telling our stories. Her facilitation and leadership made the event a comfortable and enjoyable experience for our faculty and staff. The mood was light and we all enjoyed her sense of humor. Tameka Taylor and her team spent an evening with our faculty and staff at Ruffing Montessori School. Their objectives were clear, their personal stories put us at ease and acted as springboards, their activities were relevant, and we all left with a next step.
