Barbara Hueter, M.Ed.
Barbara specializes in providing engaging and thought-provoking training and workshops in the areas of DEI, Implicit Bias, EEO and ethics. A former high school Spanish teacher, lobbyist, and political director, Barbara has spent her academic and professional career engaging and relating to people from various walks of life in a wide range of settings. Her focus centers on helping organizations realize the potential of a diverse workforce by operationalizing inclusive and equitable mindsets and practices.
Like others at Compass, Barbara is a graduate of Cleveland’s public schools. She earned a B.A. in Spanish from Amherst College and a M.Ed. in Teaching and Learning from DePaul University. She studied Spanish language, literature, culture and art history in Spain, Mexico and Puerto Rico. She’s lived in quite a few midwestern and east coast cities but is happy to once again be home in Cleveland. Barbara joined Compass in 2020.
