Andrea M. Gorman, M.Ed.

Andrea has recently joined the Compass Consulting team, after serving in the Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas as a Training Specialist for 16 years. In that capacity, she established the Court’s diversity training initiative, and seeks to continue her advocacy for diversity, equity and inclusion in our community.

Andrea earned her BS in Education from Cleveland State University, and her M.Ed. in Guidance and Counseling from John Carroll University. Prior to her involvement in the criminal justice syatem, Andrea worked with youth for 17 years. She began as a junior high school teacher and, later, did advocacy and crisis work with abused and neglected teenagers. Through her teaching and training, Andrea is committed to providing a voice for those who have a difficult time being heard.
