Communities of Color continue to express frustration with organizations, including researchers, who ‘engage’ them when it meets their agenda. This workshop will help participants understand the experiences and concerns of communities of color, including the lack of connection between stated agendas and actual experience and disrespectful practices. The workshop will provide helpful guidance and tips to assist those who fully understand the importance of engaging with the communities they seek to serve.
